I’ve not done TT personally. It should work for fatloss in theory and plenty of people seem to report it being a good system for that purpose.

I would absolutely recommend TT for a beginner. The thing with TT is that it can be used by beginners as well as more advanced “workouters” all depending on which of Craig Ballantynes programs you use and how you adept the program to your current fitness level. I’ve been using TT on and off for the past year and a half and I’ve had very good results with it, which resulted in my dad using the same program, and he has a lot of pain in his body and couldn’t do a single push up when he started, but is getting stronger and lighter every day.
